Originally from the historic Belle Meade area of Nashville, Tennessee, I graduated from Hillsboro High School, attended David Lipscomb College and the University of Tennessee. Atlanta has been my home since 1970.

Previous to real estate, I was a Business Development Coordinator for a high-profile Atlanta architectural firm. This background in architecture coupled with a strong commitment to my clients is an asset to both seller and buyer. Atlanta has been my home since 1970. Having been raised in Chattanooga and attended Baylor School and Brainard High School and Auburn University and the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, I have a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting.

The floor covering business was my occupation for over thirty years until I became a licensed realtor a few years ago. Seeing an opportunity with the McAlister Realty Group as they sell more investment properties, and having managed our personal rental properties for over thirty years, the natural evolution was to become licensed and join the team. Doing the research and putting investment opportunities before the client is something I truly enjoy.

  • Prepare and negotiate the lease.

  • Track lease expiration dates and handle lease renewals.
  • Move in/out inspections.
  • Maintain trust accounts registered with Georgia Real Estate Commission.

KAVITA UPADHYAYA

I was born in Mumbai, India, and moved to California at six months old. I am native to California and resided there for 25 years. My family and I have a very close relationship and I am the eldest of three daughters.

I attended Santa Clara University where I earned my Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering and my Master’s in Engineering Management. In 2003, I married Ajay Upadhyaya, who is a Solar Research Engineer and works at Georgia Tech. In November 2008, we had a new addition to our family. Our daughter Ariya entered our lives and we are enjoying every moment of the parenting experience. We are also proud parents of "Bhaju," our adorable Jack Russell Terrier. 

Working with people and making a positive contribution in their lives is my passion. I am truly excited about the opportunity to work with the McAlister Group in assisting buyers and sellers. My roles are:
